Site 1 - Water/Pwr Hook-up
Overall the experience was great and the view was amazing! The hookups were nice to have out in the middle of the field. Unfortunately the mosquitos seemed to hatch right around our arrival and they were out in full force around dusk. They did clear up late evening and early morning. Fairly easy to get to Yellowstone (about a 30 min drive). Definitely a unique experience!

Site 1 - Water/Pwr Hook-up
This was one of the most scenic campsites I’ve ever seen. My wife and I spent 2 weeks in May 2024 to visit Yellowstone and are so glad we chose this place. It had the feel of boondocking but with power/water hookups and a dump station 20 yards from our site. There was only a 50amp service at site #1, so if your rig uses 30amp like ours then you’ll need to bring an adaptor.
Our dog loved the freedom of being off-leash and also enjoyed hunting ground squirrels in the the sage brush that surrounds the property! We ended up getting hit with a late May snowstorm, but that was a fun experience for everyone. We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area!

Beautiful starry night!
The beautiful starry night was absolutely unbeatable. Open spot of land in the middle of the mountains. The sunset and sunrise were something a photo could never do justice of. Would 100% recommend to any tent camping seekers!!!
